Steve Weatherspoon, a lifelong reader and writer, has completed his new book “Seasonal Storms: Spring Showers—the Bloom”: the gripping first installment of his planned trilogy. From the moment he was able to read, it was hard to find him without a book. His passion for reading grew into a passion for telling his own stories and expressing his thoughts through words. He’s a lifelong writer who has been published in multiple high school publications under pseudonyms.
What began as a fun, small blurb, soon grew and was developed into a full-length story. Being a truck driver by profession, he used his downtime on the road to create a fictional story that readers of all ages and walks of life can gravitate and relate to.

What do we need in order to make those seeds bloom? Is it possible that the perfect ingredients necessary for this process are in someone else? We all know that spring comes to bring new life. Fully equipped with the ingredients necessary for nature’s seeds, could we have what is necessary for one another’s seeds?” Weatherspoon writes.
“There’s a storm on the horizon, a seasonal storm to remove what’s no longer needed and lay the foundation necessary for growth. Now, what if the potential damage of the coming storm causes more fear than comfort? It’s said, that flowers need water to grow, that it has to rain. Most can’t see the beauty in the storm, and see them as simply loud, chaotic, and unpredictable. Perhaps storms are good and necessary, as opposed to simply being bad and destructive,” he continues.
