iPhone-captured photos provide solace and reflection in new coffee table book

    HONOLULU (PRWEB) DECEMBER 22, 2022

Jaw-dropping photos coupled with inspirational quotes are the main characters in a picturesque new book of popular Hawaiian spots. Each page offers the reminder that on the islands, clouds and sky seem to stretch for eternity.

In “Catch a Cloud: Hawaii,” by Janice McEwan, readers are provided page after page of photos showcasing views of Hawaii. From ocean views to sandy beaches to palm trees eclipsing the sun, each photo is captioned with a well-known inspirational quote and even some words of wisdom from the author.

“Hawaii is a beautiful, calming state,” McEwan said. “It’s important that people remember to see the beauty that is all around us and to soak it all in, even if it is just through photos.”

While recovering from an elbow injury, McEwan had to change her camera of choice. A lighter and more portable camera was key, which she found in her iPhone. After using it to capture the landscapes and seascapes of her island state, McEwan began to realize she should share her photography skills with everyone.

“My hope is that readers will feel calmness as they page through my book and read the quotes,” McEwan said. “I also want them to realize the life-changing power of the beauty all around.”

  • Author Tito Eberendu’s new book “Star Soul Strength” is a dynamic science fiction novel about a young non-human boy who causes the cease of his planet’s existence

Author Tito Eberendu’s new book “Star Soul Strength” is a dynamic science fiction novel about a young non-human boy who causes the cease of his planet’s existence

The recent release “Star Soul Strength” from Page Publishing author Tito Eberendu is an action-packed narrative that follows a young boy isolated on a planet near Earth and under observation. After making it to Earth with the help of a scientist who came for research, the boy is told by a spirit that Earth is where he will learn more about his super rare nature.

Tito Eberendu, a teenage boy living in Lagos, Nigeria, has completed his new book “Star Soul Strength”: a mysterious and fascinating novel about a young non-human boy seeking to discover his true nature. It takes meeting a few humans, seeing some visions, feeling some attraction, training under another spirit, traveling through other reality versions, fighting a crystal-crusted brute, and a little more to discover it.

Author Tito Eberendu was born in Maryland, USA, at the Prince George hospital. He schools at British International School where he is in year 10 at this time. He prepares for IGCSE, choosing biology, physics, psychology, chemistry, ICT, music, additional math, and the mandatory math and English. He likes to play many sports, play computer games, do math problems, and exercise.

Tito writes, “the two charge at each other, colliding energies. This creates an impact so powerful it demolishes the whole planet to bits and creates a shockwave that pummels Kajay away from the planet with incredible speed and crashes him into another planet. He looked back at the planet and yells for his mother who may have been obliterated, but he tries to tell himself that she was too strong to not have survived.”

He continues, “that planet was called Derra, home to the Draekon species. They weren’t born with the overwhelming power just witnessed but, rather, born with bodies highly resistant to stress. This meant that they could engage in exercises that sound impossible, such as thousands of push-ups or sit-ups, allowing them to escalate in power quickly and efficiently.”

Published by Page Publishing, Tito Eberendu’s creative tale follows the young boy’s journey of self-discovery, which finally allows peace to reign in him—for now.

Readers who wish to experience this original work can purchase “Star Soul Strength” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.

  • New Children’s Book Shines a Light on the True Meaning of Christmas

New Children’s Book Shines a Light on the True Meaning of Christmas

Author Dian Cooper illustrates and writes her fourth children’s book

Cooper was going through a very difficult time in her life: it was the Christmas season and she felt alone; there wasn’t a single present under her Christmas tree. One day, during prayer, she was touched spiritually with a message from God that she is never alone. Inspired, Cooper wrote “The Christmas Light”.

The book starts out describing the lonely world of a Christmas light named “Bright”, who has been tucked away and forgotten in a box in the attic for many holiday seasons with his family. Bright knows it is Christmas time by the sounds of Mrs. Smith, Bright’s owner, singing Christmas jingles as well as the sweet aroma of sugar cookies and apple pie floating their way through the house.

Bright begins to lose his faith as many years have passed with little chance of being picked to shine bright on Mrs. Smith’s house. “Maybe one day she will love me again,” Bright whispers to himself before his year-long nap.

During a dream one night, Bright is reminded of the true meaning of Christmas and that Jesus died for people’s sins, with the clear message that no one is alone, if they believe. This dream propels Bright to shine brightly once again. As a result, Bright and his family are given the chance to show Mrs. Smith how truly dazzling they can be.

“I wrote this book because I knew that if just one child or adult ever felt like Bright did, they would know they’re never forgotten by God,” Cooper said.
