Working Girls Press Announces Anthology, "Liquid Silver," Edited by Mia Walsch

New York, NY (October 20, 2026) Working Girls Press is excited to announce "Liquid Silver," an anthology of speculative fiction written by sex workers. Edited by Mia Walsch, "Liquid Silver" promises to be an anthology unlike any other and will feature an array of new voices in the sex worker literary world. So many sex workers are nerds scattered throughout brothels, strip joints and hostess clubs, reading doorstopper fantasy books between bookings or scribbling sentences about space in the notebooks they stash in their lockers. Sex workers across the globe also think critically and imaginatively about what the world could look like in the future, on different planets, in alternate realities, and we want to create a space for them to bring these thoughts to life.

This anthology features the work by 20 contributors who build worlds and explore possibilities at the limits of our imaginations, including interspecies encounters, speculative technology, and interplanetary travel. It is currently available for pre-order through Kickstarter, and the campaign was selected as one of Kickstarter’s “Projects We Love.”
