Joyce Igo is a lifelong West Virginia native, a Southern Gospel artist who has written and recorded more than two hundred Gospel songs. She was married to a pastor, Denver Igo, for twenty-eight years until his passing in 2000. Besides using her musical talents, Igo was involved in youth and children ministries in their pastorates. For the past thirty-three years, she has travelled across the United States and Canada, carrying the Gospel message through song. Since 2000, she has expanded her ministry to include several mission trips to Europe, South and Central America, Africa and Asia. She is also known for her women’s conferences, several of which she has done in other countries. Igo’s first two books in the Jo Elliott mystery series are The Shadow of a Man and The Mark of Cain. Besides music and writing mysteries, Igo also enjoys reading and growing a garden.
