Christmas has just come and gone. Little did the world know that a gift has been given—one that may hold the key to altering the fate of one-sixth of humanity according to the statistics: being killed by cancer one day.
It’s a book named “Cancer Shall be No More: A Universal Cure for All Stages”, written by a missionary scientist, David Lin, PhD in Biophysics, and his son Jason Lin. It carries the hope for mankind to finally defeat cancer completely, no matter how late it is discovered in a patient.
“To speed up the R&D so that people, including my brother, who need the cure can receive it ASAP, I’ve decided to release the findings to the world at its theoretical stage,” said Dr. Lin. “Now, everyone has the opportunity to help accelerate the advance of this exhilarating medical breakthrough.”
“Although the proposed novel therapy is well-rooted in validated theories, derived from published research findings, and supported by a simulation with actual data,” the book’s disclaimer noted, “a direct proof of concept still awaits experimental confirmation, which could be readily performed in an equipped laboratory.” The procedures for ‘Proof-of-Theory Experiments & Optimization’ are outlined at the end of the book.
If proven experimentally, this will be the greatest news for all of us and future generations. Current statistics show that 1/6 of deaths are caused by cancer and about 40% of the population will experience cancer in their lifetime. What worsens the situation is that many common cancers are so-called “silent cancers,” including breast, ovarian, colorectal, pancreatic, and lung cancers. They show no noticeable early symptoms and are often only diagnosed after they have spread and become incurable by current medical measures.
The underlying mechanism, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR or MR), has been widely used in MR Imaging (MRI) for various medical diagnoses, including detecting cancers. “The brilliance of MRI may have blinded us from visualizing the full potential of the mechanism as a universal therapy,” said Dr. Lin. By “Universal Therapy,” he meant not only for treating cancers at all stages, but also potentially a spectrum of many other diseases listed in the book. Among them, an “Expedited Quarantine” was proposed to eradicate Covid-19 from the carrier within an hour of a positive test, completely preventing it from spreading further to the population.
Paraphrased in the abstract: “By targeting cancer cells’ resonant frequencies using radio waves, we can selectively deliver energy to the nuclei inside cancer cells, which will be released as heat to kill them from inside, without harming normal cells.” To devise and enhance this new Magnetic Resonance Thermotherapy (MRT), 14 novel techniques were introduced, mostly non-invasive and combinable for maximum effect. All are described in great detail in separate chapters.
The entire book was written in simple language, making it accessible to both scientists and general readers. In the ‘Self-Interview with the First Author’ section, subtitled ‘A Memoir of a 40-Year Expedition,’ true life stories behind the making of the book were told, full of dramatic twists and turns, and new inspiring quotes. It began with a car accident on a dark, rainy night that almost erased him. The near-death and recovery experiences inspired him to switch fields from ElectroPhysics to Life Sciences, and he eventually earned a PhD in Biophysics from the Roswell Park Cancer Center at SUNY Buffalo. Returning from missionary work 25 years later, his broad-spectrum educational background still provides him with profound insights into the unique yet universal therapy.

Among those lives to save is his elder brother, who was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer a while ago. This drove the author to look hard and deep into current cancer therapies and finally come up with this idea of a universal therapy to cure cancers even at the final stage deemed incurable.
The urgency compelled him to work on it day and night, ignoring the mounting financial pressure to make ends meet. At the time of publication, they have reached the point where they have already been forced to miss housing payments.
