She works for a supermarket chain where she trains managers and has been employed with them for over thirty-five years. She has an AS degree in office systems technology. Tired of being at the mercy of her left breast dictating her health, Tanya decided to make a proactive choice and get a double mastectomy. This is her story of the events leading up to the surgery and the surgery itself.

Tanya writes, “In 2013, one of the most popular actresses in the world made a startling announcement. Due to her mother’s history with cancer, Angelina Jolie decided to take the very proactive approach of getting the BRAC analysis done. After testing positive, she decided to have a double mastectomy.”

She continues, “Who knew, six years later, I would indeed take matters in my own hands. So many events surrounded my double mastectomy. All from my history, the tests, and the extenuating circumstances. It was all so very worth it.”

Thanh writes, “To my father, Nguyen Van Toan, my brother Thach and his family, and my brother Thông, who are looking down from heaven and guided me through the completion of this book. • Sir Charles Davis’s new book “Firstborns: The Storm” follows a group called the Firstborns who hear the call of God and embark on a journey to a land of peace and joy.

Sir Charles Davis’s new book “Firstborns: The Storm” follows a group called the Firstborns who hear the call of God and embark on a journey to a land of peace and joy.

Recent release “Firstborns: The Storm” from Page Publishing author Sir Charles Davis is a meaningful novel about a group called the Firstborns who must trek through dangerous terrain filled with bandits and marauders, whose only ambition is to steal and kill travelers. Furthermore, hot on their trail are the short, stout man and tall, thin man, their mortal and relentless enemies.

Sir Charles Davis, who settled in Havelock, North Carolina, with his family after being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 1985, has completed his new book “Firstborns: The Storm”: a compelling novel about an unforgettable journey.

Author Sir Charles Davis received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications degree from East Carolina University in 1995. He taught creative writing through the Life Enrichment Department at Carteret Community College in Morehead City, North Carolina. Today, he is a full-time writer, storyteller, and creative writing coach for writing beginners.

Sir Charles Davis writes, “The time had come for the gathering of God’s people, His children. The sweet, mellow sound from heaven touched the spirits of those in the north, south, east, and west. And when they heard the sound, the voice of God, they hearkened unto it and prepared their hearts to travel to the place that God had established for them.”

He continues, “It was a place where they could proclaim His infinite greatness, declare the beauty of his holiness, and celebrate the joy of being in His presence. Some called this place the garden of Eden or the holy mountain of God; others called it the city of the great king or even the new Jerusalem. There were a few who called it a place that was not a place because this place had no geographical location, no longitudes and latitudes, that could be used to find it on a map. Many believed that it was a divine knowing, an awakening of the spirit within, and yet others believed it was God’s presence on earth, a place where they could meet God. Whatever their belief was about this place, they all knew that it would take the Holy Spirit to guide them there.”

Published by Page Publishing, Sir Charles Davis’s striking tale follows the Firstborns as they must avoid mercenaries hired to hunt them down and slaughter all men, women, and children. Not daunted, the Firstborns continue forward, their faith wholly in God, who has called them, and they meet each undertaking and conflict inside and outside the group with courage.

This true story is of a broken girl who took years to speak up and now is blurting it on the rooftops! She wanted to die because of the abuse and the traumas she experienced in her life, and most of the time, no one would even listen. There is so much trauma and so many people who do help but also so many people who do not know how to help.
